About project

digitalSTROM required a modern website that could serve their diverse audience across the DACH and Benelux regions. The goal was to develop a multilingual platform that showcases their products and services, enhances user engagement, and strengthens their online presence in the competitive green energy markets. An important aspect was providing users with an easy way to locate nearby showrooms or certified installers to experience their products firsthand.

Our Process

01/Discovery and Planning

6 Weeks
We began by understanding digitalSTROM’s objectives, target audience, and technical requirements. Through collaborative discussions, we identified the need for a multilingual website with a seamless user experience and interactive elements to showcase their products effectively. Additionally, we focused on incorporating a feature that allows users to find recommended showrooms or licensed installers across the DACH and Benelux regions.

02/Design and Development

20 Weeks
Our design team crafted a responsive website that aligns with digitalSTROM’s brand identity. We developed custom WordPress templates and implemented multilingual support to cater to German, Dutch, French, and other relevant languages used in the DACH and Benelux regions. We also designed and integrated a showroom and installer locator feature, making it easy for users to connect with authorized partners in their area.

03/Content Integration and Localization

2 Weeks
Working closely with digitalSTROM, we integrated and localized content for each region. This ensured that all information was culturally relevant and accurately translated, enhancing user engagement and trust. The showroom and installer information was tailored to display region-specific partners.

04/Testing and Quality Assurance

2 Weeks
We conducted comprehensive testing to ensure optimal performance across various devices, browsers, and languages. Special attention was given to the multilingual functionality and the showroom/installer locator feature to ensure accurate results and a smooth user experience.

05/Deployment and Ongoing Support

Ongoing
After successful testing, we deployed the website and provided training to digitalSTROM’s team on content management, multilingual features, and managing the showroom and installer database. We continue to offer support and maintenance to ensure the website remains updated and secure.
